Why Slowclap?
You know the scene. It's in every classic '80s movie. You think the big crowd
is out for blood, and that our trapped hero is doomed. But wait! From the back
of the group comes a faint clapping sound. Some brave soul has taken a stand.
They're supporting our hero in the face of adversity. Gradually more people join
in. The clapping gets louder and louder until it erupts into thunderous applause.
Vindication!
Start small. Get big. We take the same approach to digital media, and do our
best to help our clients focus on the best way to establish a solid, highly-scalable
online presence. Awww...touching, isn't it?
And while this
movie popularized the term "slow clap," Sarah and I both agree
that the "Beckersted real estate model ravaged by Bobcat Goldthwait in a
Godzilla costume" scene from this
movie contains the best slow clap (performed by old man Beckersted himself)
in cinema history.
